Lend a Hand Campaign

Blossom is embarking on an exciting new venture and we invite you to join us as we together take our dearly loved nonprofit to new heights! Since Blossom’s inception we’ve been a tiny organization with a big heart. Blossom now has the opportunity to expand our center and improve our services for growing families - we need each of you, our Blossom Family, to help make this vision a reality!

Every gift of any size counts, your tax-deductible donation will go a long way towards helping us improve our offerings so more families have access to resources for a healthy pregnancy, birth and early parenting.

We especially invite you to join our “Lend a Hand” campaign: a community tile mural project, incorporating hand prints, foots prints and beautiful art work by our Blossom Babies. For gifts of $100 or more made between now and December 31st, we will thank you with a decorative tile to be displayed in our community mural. We’re looking forward to adding the colorful artistic endeavors of older Blossom children and prints of babies’ hands and feet to the interior walls. A tile is a great way to leave a lasting memory of your family’s time at Blossom and each tile becomes part of our history. For gifts of $1,000 or more, you will enjoy the option of a larger family tile as well as receive name recognition at the center with our thanks.

Proceeds from the Lend a Hand Campaign will benefit space improvements at Blossom. We’ve been in our current space for five years and it is time to spruce things up. Many of you have told us you’d like more comfortable seating, more options for when classes are offered, better lighting and more. We hear you! The Blossom Team is getting ready to make a number of updates over the next few months including replacing flooring, improving lighting, adding soundproofing, replacing seating, and buying new classroom equipment like yoga mats. Next year we also have the opportunity to expand our current location to include a larger classroom space.

The tile mural will be designed with generous support from Create It Ceramic and Mosaic Studio in Palo Alto. Our goal is to bring together fifty tiles to create a community mural, so please reserve yours today by making a donation online at or mail a check to Blossom Birth with a note to reserve your tile.

Details

For a gift of $100 or more before December 31st, you will have an opportunity to decorate one 6 x 6 inch ceramic tile. To decorate your tile, you will be invited to attend a community tile painting party in January (date to be announced) at Blossom. If you aren’t able to join us during the painting party, you can also make an appointment to visit the Create It Ceramics and Mosaic Studio in Palo Alto’s Town and Country Village on weekdays in January. We hope to have all 50 tiles decorated by the end of January for installation in February.
