Jewish Baby Network Birth Preparation Workshop
Over the course of the class, new and expectant parents will have an opportunity to learn and ask questions about rituals during labor and delivery, choosing a Hebrew name, bris, naming and welcoming ceremonies, Jewish perspectives on parenting and more. The price is $36 per couple or $18 per individual which includes a kosher vegetarian dinner and all materials.
This class will be facilitated by Program Director Carol Booth and taught by our local Peninsula rabbis. Become informed and make friends.
The Jewish Baby Network is committed to providing information in a non-judgmental manner. It is our intention to educate parents about the traditions, rituals and resources, and it is up to each parent to decide how much or little to incorporate into their family’s life. The Jewish Baby Network welcomes everyone, including single parent, LGBTQ, interfaith, and unaffiliated families.
Who: The JBN Birth Preparation Workshop is open to new and expectant parents who are interested in learning more about Jewish themes related to birth, welcoming ceremonies, and parenting.

The Jewish Baby Network is creating a pluralistic community in the SF Bay Area where families of all kinds learn, share, and celebrate together. The Jewish Baby Network is for Peninsula and SF families with at least one child age newborn through 36 months, and siblings are welcome at our events.
