Allana Moore

After the birth of her second child, Allana Moore realized she wanted to be involved more deeply in birth work and supporting families through their journey.

She joined the South Bay Birth Circle to get connected, and soon became trained as a childbirth educator and doula through ALACE, and has continued her training through Birthing From Within and numerous professional conferences.

She has been attending births since 2003, co-coordinated the Alliance for Safe Childbirth, which was later incorporated into BABI, and has been active with BABI and the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services (CIMS), supporting the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative.
