Learn the importance of healthy baby teeth and good dental habits that help prevent tooth decay. Healthy baby teeth are important for eating, smiling, talking and keeping a place for adult teeth. More importantly, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry(AAPD), recommends that a visit to the dentist should be at 12 months or six months after the baby's first tooth erupts.
