  • April 26: Jennifer Sherer: Pain Free Sitting, an Intro to Back Health

Does your backache? Do you have neck and shoulder pain? There's one key body part, when repositioned, can begin to unravel all the tensions that are causing this pain. It's your pelvis. Come and learn how to become more aware of what is causing your tensions and pains. It's a whole new paradigm for health: a little awareness goes a long way.

Jennifer Sherer found the Balance Center through her own back pain which has been plaguing her on and off for 25 years. She used to believe that her back, shoulder, knee, foot pain and any overall body tightness was caused by aging or genetics. Having experienced pelvis and bone alignment of Balance, she understands that the aging feeling isn't aging, but chronic tightness ignored until it becomes pain. Balance has helped her revitalized muscles and restored spaciousness amongst her bones. She has learned how to trouble shoot her own pain through body awareness attained by practicing Balance Guidelines. Jenn has B.S. in Product Design Engineering from Stanford University, and more importantly, she's pain free and feels younger and stronger now than she did 5 years ago. She's passionate about having others discover the potential of their bodies at any age, because she knows that the despair of a deteriorating body doesn't have to be tolerated. She loves to give others hope and help them unwind their bodies understanding the physics of their flesh and bone. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, dancing, biking, sailing, walking and spending time with her husband and three children.

  • March 22: Nassim Naturals: Essential Oils and Motherhood

Plants have wonderful things to offer us, and that can start from a young age. We invite you to join us in this workshop where we will be talking about essential oils that are safe to use on smaller children, and what their benefits might be. We will also be talking about certain essential oils that mothers can also use for different purposes. Although the focus of the workshop will be essential oils, we will also discuss certain herbs and how they can be used.

Nassim's background and passion educated her enough to know that there were too many toxins in the products she was using, so she decided to launch her own research program to study the chemicals in mainstream products and to learn about their effects.  Her sensitivities to many products became clear as she continued on a journey of discovery into the world of botanical science.   She attended workshops and seminars in herbology, aromatology and aromacosmetology which confirmed her belief in the need for high quality pure ingredients in the creation of skincare that is ethical, and sustainable.  Nassim Naturals believes that nature’s laboratory has everything necessary to support healthy skin, and thus, Nassim Naturals was born.  Nassim's passion and drive created a wonderful company that loves and enjoys creating natural products without additives, chemicals, or artificial scents. www.nassimnaturals.com
